Our History
Dr Carlos Eduardo Chermont de Britto graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in 1962. In 1972, following the death of Professor Nélio Reis — at the time Brazil's foremost authority on Employment Law and the author of numerous legal works, many of which remain in publication — he founded C.E. Chermont de Britto Advogados, having worked alongside Professor Reis for fifteen years. The firm has recently adopted the name Chermont de Britto & Paim de Carvalho Advogados.
Through the quality of its legal services, the firm has established a solid reputation within legal and business circles and developed a significant client portfolio. Integrity and professional competence are among its defining characteristics.
